Memo at work today-"if I feel I need deodorant"???

Feb. 5, 2008
To: All Building employees
From: Building management

Building management is receiving complaints from staff about the abundance of scented cosmetics in the building.
Some people are severely allergic to fragrances used in cosmetics: men's and women's colognes, aftershave, lotion, mousse, hair spray and deodorants.
Others are allergic to fresh flowers, and this is bound to become an issue with Valentine's Day coming up soon.
Because air circulates freely in the building, fragrances and flowers in your area can affect many others. Even those not allergic can be overwhelmed by the proliferation of fragrances.
In today's workplace, refraining from using perfume, cologne and aftershave demonstrates our professionalism and respect for your coworkers. If you feel you need hairspray, deodorant or lotion, please choose an unscented variety. If you receive flowers at work, at the end of the day please take them home to enjoy them.
Thank you for your consideration.
