Care for a glass of cherry tomatoes?

From one of the last Saturday markets of the season. Warm, bright day on the 45th parallel. Sun lower in the sky.

As economic and political winds blow, farmers -- as they have for centuries -- bring their good to market. I love buying this way. Going from stall to stall to buy something from everyone. Thanking everyone for being there.

It was a great time to be a human being. Not a human doing -- just being in the moment.

Not the GOP balloon drop

Waiting for the car at the dealership. Overlooking the showroom with no customers.

Maybe balloons will help with car sales.

The loveliest ex-K-mart I've ever seen

Wellspring in Woodburn. Silverton Hospital's future concept facility. Holistic medical, yoga, spa and restaurant.

I can't think of this place without thinking of Bryan, my late boss.

He knew he had heart issues in his family. Twice a week he want here for diet and exercise. One Saturday morning in July, I took a call. Bryan died in his sleep at 59.

Love wild grasses at night

Sunset through our backyard

Another lovely shot taken with my 1.3 megapixel cellphone. About 90% of the shots on the blog are taken with the cell phone.
